In the past several days, the Russian attack on Ukraine has intensified, with several cities (Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mariupol, Sumy, Chernihiv and many others) under intense bombardments with the number of civilian casualties rising rapidly. Yet the Ukrainian army, government, and civilian population continue to display remarkable resilience.

Since 2005, the Danyliw Seminar has provided an annual platform for the presentation of some of the most influential academic research on Ukraine.
