The 14th edition of the Capital Hoops Classic is fast approaching and tickets are already available! On February 7, be one of the thousands of fans who will attend the rivalry between our Gee-Gees and the Carleton Ravens. Come and cheer on your athletes, as they will take on the third and final chapter of the legendary rivalry.

En 2016, la rivalité entre l’Université d’Ottawa et l’Université Carleton s’est transportée sur la glace lors de la première Classique Colonel By. Plus de 3000 partisans se sont déplacés pour assister à l’édition 2017 qui se déroulait à la Place TD où l’équipe des hommes a décroché la bannière de la Classique Colonel By. L’événement tire son nom de la promenade Colonel By, qui longe le Canal Rideau au centre-ville et relie l’Université d’Ottawa à l’extrémité Nord et l’Université Carleton au Sud.
The Ottawa-Carleton rivalry took to the ice in 2016 in the inaugural Colonel By Classic. Over 3,000 fans attended the 2017 edition at TD Place with the uOttawa men's team taking home the Colonel By Classic Banner. The event is named after Colonel By Drive - the picturesque and historic road which runs along the Rideau Canal through central Ottawa and connects the two institutions with uOttawa at its northern end in the downtown core, and Carleton at the southern locks.

For five days, Canada's top eight inter-university teams will compete for the national title. Attend more than eleven high-caliber games live at the Gee-Gees Field and cheer for our Gee-Gees.

L’édition de 2018 marquant le 50e match de cette série entre les Ravens et les Gee-Gees, a attiré 24 470 partisans à la Place TD, un record pour un match de football de la saison régulière des U SPORTS. Les Gee-Gees mènent 33-17 au chapitre des victoires.
The Panda Game is a long-running tradition in the city of Ottawa which has ignited school spirit since 1955. The 2018 edition of the Panda Game marked the 50th game in the storied series, with uOttawa holding an all-time record of 33-17.
The 2018 game drew 24,470 fans to TD Place - a modern-day record for U SPORTS regular season football. Over 1,000 Gee-Gees fans also packed the Aberdeen Pavillion for the Pre-Panda Party. The 2019 game will take place on Saturday, October 5.
