During the Mois de la francophonie, the Carrefour francophone presents a brand new contest for short story writing in the language of Molière. Impress the judges with your writing talent through your story of 500 to 750 words, on any topic, and take your chances on winning one of the prizes there for the taking!
There will be a special prize for French as a second language (FLS) students.
Dans le cadre du Mois de la francophonie, le Carrefour francophone présente un tout nouveau concours de rédaction de nouvelles littéraires dans la langue de Molière. D’une longueur de 500 à 750 mots, sans thème particulier, vous devrez épater les juges grâce à vos talents d’auteur et ainsi tenter de vous mériter un des prix en jeu !
Un prix spécial sera accordé aux étudiants FLS.

This 30-minute, three part televised quiz show covering a wide variety of topics will let you prove once and for all that you’re not ready for any dunce cap.
The show will be taped before a live audience in the University Centre Agora and broadcast on the Rogers French-language channel.

La Journée du design saura vous épater par la créativité et l’ingéniosité de nos étudiants!
Cet événement vise à présenter les projets et à célébrer les réussites de nos étudiants. C'est une occasion pour nos étudiants de présenter leurs projets de conception et de gagner des prix. Les projets de design sont nombreux en génie et plusieurs des programmes académiques de génie seront représentés lors de l’événement.
Design Day promises to amaze you with the creativity and ingenuity of our students!
This event is aimed at showcasing engineering design projects and celebrating the achievements of our students. Design projects are prevalent in the Engineering curriculum, and many of our academic engineering programs will be participating in the event.
Fourth edition of Design Day – November 29, 2018
As part of the mandate of the NSERC Chair in Entrepreneurial Engineering Design (CEED), the Faculty of Engineering will be hosting its fourth edition of Design Day.
La personne avec le plus grand nombre d'étoiles gagne un prix (1-200 $, 2-100 $, 3-50 $). Le gagnant sera annoncé vendredi matin. Un prix de participation de 50 $ sera également tiré au sort.
Programme :
Lundi : 10 h à 14 h (Carrefour francophone) et 17 h à 20 h (CRX Laboratoire d’exploration ou Résidence Annex salle de jeu)
Mardi : 10 h à 14 h (Carrefour francophone) et 17 h à 20 h (complexe résidentiel, salle 152)
Mercredi : 10 h à 14 h (Carrefour francophone) et 17 h à 20 h (CRX Laboratoire d’exploration)
