Objectives:Through attending this session participants will be able to:

  •  Become familiar with what Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) means to a pediatric emergency physician.
  •  Understand training pathways in POCUS and the attainment and assessment of PEM POCUS Competency.
  •  Gain an appreciation of the current and potential pediatric emergency POCUS applications.
  •  Recognize the value of POCUS to the pediatric ED and appreciate why every pediatric ED need POCUS.
