International Day is an opportunity for students to share some of their culture with fellow students and with professors. Small groups of students present material (posters, flags, photos, traditional dress, objects, etc.) or share some of their favourite foods. They also present, songs, dances, games or other activities.
How can I take part in International Day?
Participating students will meet three Fridays in Thompson (THN) 124, February 5, February 26 and March 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., to prepare the event.
La journée internationale est une occasion pour les étudiants de partager un aspect de leur culture avec leurs pairs et leurs professeurs. Les étudiants travaillent en petits groupes à la présentation d’information (affiches, drapeaux, photographies, habits traditionnels, objets, etc.) ou donnent un aperçu de leurs mets internationaux préférés. Les participants peuvent aussi présenter une chanson, une danse, un jeu ou toute autre activité.
Vous êtes invités à atelier donné par Carla Hall et Amelia Hope. L’évènement est tenu par le Groupe de recherche en évaluation de langues (GREL) de l’Institut des langues officielles et du bilinguisme (ILOB) le 29 janvier de 9h30 à 11h à la pièce 129 du pavillon Simard au 60, rue Université. Le café et un petit déjeuner seront servis! Veuillez noter que cet atelier sera présenté en anglais.
