Portfolio-Info Night is an opportunity to show professors your portfolio before you submit images online as part of your application process. Bring a selection of your best work for personal feedback and advice about how to prepare your portfolio. Professors will share tips on photographing your work and preparing it For digital uploading. This is also a great opportunity for individualized contact with Professors in the Department of Visual Arts.

The Graduating class of 2018 and Gallery 115 of the University of Ottawa will be holding a Holiday Fundraising Art Sale on December 15th from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm in the Visual Arts building, 600 Cumberland, Gallery 115.
A portion of the proceeds will go to fund the 2018 Graduation Exhibition happening in late April.
This is a great opportunity to purchase artwork and Christmas gifts at reasonable prices from our talented students. The maximum price for a piece of art will be $300.

Starting with the theme of ‘engage’ and focusing on how the process of curating exposes the connections between theory and practice, art history and visual art, [working space] concentrates on artworks and concepts that unfold and develop on their own through juxtaposition, participation, and the creation of interdisciplinary artistic knowledge.
