Le Département d’arts visuels de l’Université d’Ottawa est fier de présenter la cinquième conférence d’artistes invités de la Fondation Stonecroft en collaboration avec le Musée des beaux-arts du Canada. Isuma, qui représente le Canada à la Biennale de Venise cette année présentera une projection de film, 'One Day in the Life of Noah Piugattuk' et discussion après avec Lucy Tulugarjuk and Asinnajaq.

The Department of Visual Arts at the University of Ottawa is proud to present Isuma for the 2019 Stonecroft Lecture in collaboration with the National Gallery of Canada.

Isuma's feature film “One Day in the Life of Noah Piugattuk,” will be screened followed by a discussion with Lucy Tulugarjuk and Asinnajaq. Isuma is currently representing Canada at the 2019 Venice Biennale. Film is with English subtitles. Discussion is in English, open to the public and free of charge. Limited seating.

The Department of Visual Arts would like to cordially invite you to our Portfolio-Info Night!

This event is for everyone interested in applying to the Visual Arts programmes for admission to the 2020 or 2021 fall terms.

Applicants are encouraged to bring a selection of their best work (6-8 works) and their sketchbook for personal feedback and advice about how to prepare the portfolio. Professors will share tips on photographing work and preparing it for digital uploading. They will also give an introduction to Slideroom, our digital portfolio portal.
