This bilingual, interactive workshop explores ethical dilemmas that arise when doing research with people in migration situations. Using real-life scenarios, participants will reflect on the legal, practical and moral opportunities and challenges of the three key ethical principles applied to migration: voluntary, informed consent; confidentiality; and, do no harm. We will discuss existing tools and resources, as well as gaps and areas for future action. It is intended for emerging as well as established researchers.
