The Indigenous Program at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine is pleased to announce the upcoming session of our “Come Walk in Our Moccasins” Mini-Medical School. This event is open to Indigenous youth in grade 7 up to post-secondary who are interested in learning more about pursuing a career in medicine. Decolonization at uOttawa

This event will be organized to bring awareness to the work that is being done to decolonize campuses, research methods and the classroom in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology as well as the University of Ottawa at large. We are delighted to learn from the leaders who have taken on the task of bringing on Indigenous perspectives into the curriculum. This panel event will essentially ask the questions: What is necessary in the process of decolonizing universities?
