IP and commercialization of research

It is possible to turn your research into a start-up where the customers are the ultimate peer-review . The Innovation Support Services will run a workshop on “IP and commercialization of research” to help you understand who owns and who has the right to develop your research or to commercialize it. The presentation will be followed by Q/A period to answer any question you might have regarding IP and research.

NEM Workshop - Final Improvements

It's the final week, and this is the time to be creative! Think of ways to expand and improve your robot. Discuss new potential projects and help in the process of bringing them to life. NEM Workshop - Robot Assembly

Week 3 it's time to put the robots together! This workshop will cover some fundamentals of soldering and electronics finishing, in order to put our project together and get it functional. There will also be some usage of the finishing station for both assembly and fine tuning of our robot. This assembly of the robot will cover some circuit basics to explain how we are getting our robot to function. No previous soldering skills are required to complete this workshop.

Atelier MNE - Assemblage du robot

Semaine 3, il est temps d'assambler les robots! Cet atelier couvrira les bases de la soudure et de la finition électronique, afin de mettre notre projet ensemble et le rendre fonctionnel. Il y aura aussi une utilisation de la station de finition pour l'assemblage et le réglage fin de notre robot. Cet assemblage du robot couvrira les notions de base des circuits pour expliquer comment faire fonctionner notre robot. Aucune compétence de soudage préalable n'est requise pour compléter cet atelier.

Atelier MNE - Introduction

Ce premier événement présentera nos activités prévues pour le Mois national du génie. Il continuera tout au long du mois de mars et sera un «atelier de construction de votre premier robot». Une présentation sur le projet montrera aux participants ce qu'ils vont faire. Le "Robot en cours d'exécution" couvre CAD, impression 3D, soudure et compétences Arduino, ainsi que la robotique simple. Notre espoir est de découvrir le fabricant à l'intérieur de tout le monde! Cette expérience est à la fois gratuite et ouverte à tous. Venez avec beaucoup de questions!
