Soldering is the process of using a filler material (solder) to join pieces of metal together. In this workshop participants will be shown how to properly use a soldering iron. pieces of metal together (wires, PCB). Taking into account safety precautions, as well as tips for making soldering easier.

The Basic Lathe training offered by CEED is the first step in getting access to the Lathes inside the Brunsfield Center. In this training, attendees will learn how to use the basic operations of the Lathe safely and effectively.
Please note that attendees will be required to do the following in order to participate from this event
- Bring closed shoes (steel toes are not mandatory but recommended)
- Be certified in the basic machine shop training offered by CEED
