This presentation provides an overview of the work of Academics Without Borders (AWB), a Canadian nonprofit organization committed to helping to improve universities in the developing world. Working through volunteers, AWB partners with universities to enhance quality and build capacity in teaching, research, administration and other activities that the universities themselves propose in order to increase their capacity to contribute to the development of their communities.
Cette présentation donne un aperçu du travail d'Universitaires sans frontières (USF), un organisme canadien sans but lucratif qui s'engage à aider à améliorer les universités des pays en développement. Par l'entremise de bénévoles, USF travaille en partenariat avec les universités pour améliorer la qualité de l'enseignement, de la recherche, de l'administration et d'autres activités que les universités elles-mêmes proposent afin d'accroître leur capacité à contribuer au développement de leurs collectivités.
