In following the Makerspace Oximeter Design Challenge, Dr. Anis will be present at the Makerspace to review participants designs and ideas for the challenge posed. Dr. Anis wil provide professional feedback to the participants on any improvements they may choose to make before they begin 3D printing.
The goal of this challenge is to develop an accurate pulse oximeter for $25 or less to be used in humanitarian relief. You are invited to use your creative skills in the Makerspace to try to make a difference in the world!

The annual uOttawa Service Excellence Week runs from October 2 to 6. Activities include conferences, the return of the pop-up café, a contest and student awards.

The Teaching and Learning Support Service (TLSS) is pleased to announce a special funding initiative for projects involving the production of educational videos in French. Projects must meet the following criteria:
be based on the production of videos in French that will contribute to the improvement of teaching and/or learning in a course offered at the University of Ottawa;
be completed by March 31, 2016;
be based on a maximum budget of $5,000.
*Only regular faculty members are eligible to submit projects.
