Entrepreneurship Bridges is a series of five free events that promote entrepreneurism, provide start up and new venture advice and access to a community of entrepreneurs.
The program is a joint initiative between the University of Ottawa’s Entrepreneurship Hub, the Faculty of Engineering, Start up Garage, the Entrepreneur’s Club and the Telfer School of Management.

This edition of Startup Weekend focuses on current uOttawa students, and recent graduates.Our goal is to connect students across all faculties to encourage and promote entrepreneurship regardless of discipline of study. Founders are often faced with tough choices as they embark on the journey of starting their own businesses — such as ceding of power/control/equity to grow the company, adjusting business strategy to align with the marketplace, and maintaining core vision and founding principles through adversity. This panel of entrepreneurs will share their experiences and the tough choices they confronted in starting their companies.
Ottawa boasts a diverse ecosystem of people and organizations that support entrepreneurs and innovators. This networking event is all about connecting people and learning about our city's impressive array of resources that make up our "startup ecosystem".
