This workshop will provide participants with an overview and will provide guidance on how to optimize the management (administration) your research project within an intensive research institution, support systems and available resources etc.

Si vous êtes intéressé à connaitre et obtenir de l’aide financière lors de vos études au niveau de la Maîtrise et Doctorat, cet atelier vous présenteras les informations portant sur l’aide financière disponible aux étudiants(es) au cycle supérieur.

Who should attend this workshop? If you are interested in obtaining financial support during your studies at Master and/or Doctoral level, this workshop will present important information on available financial support programs at graduate level.

À la fin de l'atelier, les participants connaîtront les gaz communs, leur utilisation correcte et les dangers associés. Les sujets incluent:

Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be familiar with common gases, their proper usage and the associated hazards. Topics include:

• Correctly identifying common gas cylinders;
• Identifying hazards (including flammability, asphyxiation, toxic, etc.);
• Understanding the proper conditions under which gases should be stored;
• Introducing safe handling practices;
• Understanding safety features of cylinders and how they operate;
• Safely transporting cylinders inside a building.
