Panel: Indigenous Perspective in Teaching and Learning

How do Indigenous students learn? What’s the best way to support them? Which Indigenous perspectives are beneficial to all learners?   This panel discussion will provide insight into contemporary realities of education for Indigenous students; current Indigenous teaching and learning philosophies and strategies; and how these elements can be integrated into the classroom.   Panelists will first share their perspectives, then will answer questions from the audience, and finally will lead small-group discussions on the topic, with integration to practice in mind.
