Are you feeling anxious and nervous about final exams? Are you feeling overwhelmed by the increasing workload? Join us for the workshop on Finals 101. In this workshop, we will discuss time and stress management skills in order to help you succeed! Time management is the key to being well prepared to challenge finals and we will give you different techniques and tips during the workshop. We understand that the exam period is a stressful time, but learning how to manage your stress will help you concentrate better on the task ahead.

Compétition de probabilité et de statistiques en génie

La Faculté de génie offrira son quatrième concours de probabilités et de statistiques cette session. Ce concours est basé sur les cours suivants (seulement la première moitié du cours):

  • ELG3526 - Signaux et Systèmes Aléatoires
  • MAT2777 – Probabilité et Statistiques pour Ingénieurs

Ces deux cours sont plus ou moins équivalents. Il n’est pas nécessaire d’avoir suivi un de ces cours pour pouvoir participer au concours car les participants recevront tous un paquet de notes et d’exercices avec des solutions pour se préparer.

Engineering Probability and Statistics Competition Fall 2018

The faculty will be hosting its fourth Engineering Probability and Statistics Competition this semester, based off of the following courses (only the first half of the course):

  • ELG3126 - Random Signals and Systems
  • MAT2377 – Probability and Statistics for Engineers

These courses are more or less equivalent. It is not necessary to have taken either of those courses to participate in the contest since participants will receive a complete course package to help them prepare.
