Literary Translation

Swiss-German author Christian Kracht and his American translator Daniel Bowles will read and discuss passages in the German original (published in 2012) and English translation (2015) from Kracht's novel Imperium: A Fiction of the South Seas, following an introduction and Q&A with the author by Arnim Seelig, McGill University.

Finally, a competition that rewards ideas!

This monthly French-language one-hour show broadcast on TV Rogers features two groups of students debating a given topic before an audience and jury. The show is produced by TV Rogers, along with the Société étudiante des débats français and the University of Ottawa Community Life Service.
