Le Bureau des affaires autochtones de l’Université d’Ottawa organise une danse ronde pour accueillir le solstice d’hiver.

Les festivités commenceront à 16 h, et un festin communautaire sera servi à 17 h . Les membres de la communauté universitaire peuvent se joindre à la fête à n’importe quel moment.

Round Dance

The University of Ottawa’s Indigenous Affairs Office is hosting a round dance to usher in the winter solstice.


When: Saturday, December 3
Where: Montpetit Hall (Gym)


Festivities will start at 4 p.m., with a community feast being offered at 5 p.m. Members of the uOttawa community are invited to drop by at any time.


Feel free to bring a friend, as well as your own Tupperware and cutlery to reduce waste on campus.

Peter Henderson Bryce: un homme de conscience

Le docteur Peter Henderson Bryce a été un pionnier de la santé publique et des politiques sanitaires au Canada. En tant que médecin hygiéniste du ministère des Affaires indiennes, Bryce avait constaté qu'un grand nombre d'enfants des Premières Nations mouraient chaque année en raison des conditions dans les pensionnats autochtones et du manque de traitement contre la tuberculose de 1904 à 1921.

Peter Henderson Bryce: A Man of Conscience

Dr. Peter Henderson Bryce was a pioneer of public health and sanitation policy in Canada. As medical health officer for the Department of Indian Affairs, Bryce had found that large numbers of First Nations children were dying each year due to conditions in Residential Schools and lack of tuberculosis treatment from 1904 to 1921.

On April 25, the 2022 graduates from the University of Ottawa’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program will open a seven-day exhibition of their artistic works.
CONSTELLATE is a student-curated and organized exhibition showcasing the work of twenty-five emerging artists, who will transform the faculty’s building into a professional exhibition space.
Join us! Our vernissage takes place Friday, April 29th from 7 to 9 pm in the basement floor of the University of Ottawa's Visual Arts Department’s four-story building: 100 Laurier Ave. E./ 600 Cumberland St.

CONSTELLER est une exposition présentant le travail de vingt-cinq artistes émergents, où les étudiants sont responsables de la planification, du financement et de l'accueil du spectacle.

The Smartification of Everything

The Smartification of Everything is a combined symposium and art exhibition. This event will bring together academic research and the arts to create a space for exchanging on the smartification across the urban, rural and beyond, while exploring its social, political, cultural and environmental impacts. A series of panels will take place from March 10-11, and the exhibition will be accessible in-person and virtually from March 7-11.
