This edition of Startup Weekend focuses on current uOttawa students, and recent graduates.Our goal is to connect students across all faculties to encourage and promote entrepreneurship regardless of discipline of study. After hosting the first event for international students on September 28th, we collected information about the struggles that international students face in Canada. One of the top struggles was “finding jobs and transitioning to the Canadian job market”. So we have tailored the upcoming event to tackle this topic.

In this workshop, you will learn the basics on how to design and 3D print objects. You will learn how to use basic 3D design software [TinkerCAD] to create a personalized object then followed by a step by step tutorial on how to 3D print your object on the various printers in the Makerspace. Please bring your laptops to this workshop to follow along with the activity. Internet connection required.
