The Geotechnical Hazards and Risks Graduate Conference is an annual event organized by Prof. Mamadou Fall from the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Ottawa.
This 2-day conference brings together graduate students (PhD, Master) working on various topics related to geotechnical hazards and risks, researchers, professors and engineers from the practice for constructive exchanges in a warm and stimulating environment.

Colin Rennie isn’t afraid to get wet. As a civil engineering professor, he was a key member of a prestigious team of researchers who rafted some 500 kilometres down the Fraser River, an adventure that included wild rides through the breakneck waters of 42 bedrock canyons.
