The Indigenizing and Decolonizing Committee of the Faculty of Social Sciences invites you to join the sharing circle on Indigenizing and Decolonizing Indigenous Education.   Hosted by Wendake native, Catherine Dussault, PhD candidate in sociology at Laval University, it will bring together three people with distinct experience and expertise: Marie Battiste (Mi’kmaw Potlotek First Nation, Special Advisor to CBU Decolonizing the Academy), Stan Wilson (Opaskwayak Cree Nation, Adjunct Professor, University of Alberta) and Mona Tolley (Kitigan Zibi First Nation, Indigenous Curriculum Specialist, University of Ottawa).   They will discuss a central dimension of Indigenization to create transformative knowledge on Indigenous pedagogies.   Register now!
