Presentation of the production context by Danielle Labbé before the screening of the documentary, followed by a question period

The video documentary Making our Place explores the relationship of young rural migrant women to urban public spaces in Hanoi and their relationship to the urban world in general. Produced by Danielle Labbé, Associate Professor School of Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture, in collaboration with the NGO HealthBridge Vietnam and the Vietnamese Women's Museum, the documentary received the 'Best Next Gen Film Award' at the 2020 Better Cities Film Festival. This short film was produced as part of the research project TRYSPACES: Transformative Youth Spaces.
