The Office of the Vice-Dean, Research is pleased to announce the launch of a new monthly series: Research Connections. This series is intended to be an opportunity for colleagues to share, with a short presentation as a starting point for questions or discussions between panelists and participants. Each third Tuesday of the month will be devoted to a specific topic.

The topic for November: a thoughtful, organized approach to knowledge mobilization (KMb).

KMb is a growing part of grant applications and research projects. To help support you, the OVDR has developed a guide for this purpose: Knowledge Mobilization Tools. However, it is important to consider your objectives before choosing and engaging with knowledge mobilisation tools. Marie-Eve Girard, Knowledge Mobilization Advisor at the Office of the Vice-President, Research, will provide suggestions ideas to help you structure your KMb work. We will also welcome Krystelle Shaughnessy, professor at the School of Psychology, champion of the Research priority Media, Technology and Society, and Director of the Individual and Social Influences of Technology (INSITE) Laboratory. With the help of lab members, Professor Shaughnessy has been working to increase and improve their KMb efforts. She will tell us about her experiences with the process and what she has learned.

This is an opportunity to ask our panelists questions regarding your own KMb work!
