Research Connections : Equity, diversity and inclusion
The Office of the Vice-Dean, Research is pleased to announce the launch of a new monthly series: Research Connections. This series is intended to be an opportunity for colleagues to share, with a short presentation as a starting point for questions or discussions between panelists and participants. Each third Tuesday of the month will be devoted to a specific topic.
First up on October 19: Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
We are pleased to welcome two very knowledgeable colleagues:
Virginie Cobigo, Professor at the School of Psychology, CHEO Research Chair in Child and Youth Mental Health, Executive Director at OPEN Collaborative for Cognitive Accessibility, and recipient of the More Inclusion, Better Research: Inspiring Stories Competition prize awarded by the Office of the Vice-President, Research.
Diego Herrera, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Advisor for Research in the Office of the Vice-President Research and one of the architects of the EDI Action Plan for Research, to be released soon.
