The Planthropolab is proud to present a virtual event and exhibition Actual Virtual Rhizomes taking place Wednesday February 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM via Jitsi. https://meet.jit.si/ActualVirtualRhizomes   This virtual exhibition will showcase multimedia projects exploring plant and vegetal life. The event draws together undergraduate students, graduate students, and professors exploring plant and vegetal life through art, sound, code, and other experimental research formats and multimedia knowledge. The selection of contributors invites us to think critically about multimedia forms of research, questioning divisions between nature and culture and pushing boundaries of knowledge.   Interested in participating? We ask each participant to submit a 150-200 word summary of their project along with images, drawings, websites, sounds, stories, poems, or any other multimedia that represents the project.   To submit project e-mail Nina at nbarb020@uottawa.ca.
