The Department of Visual Arts at the University of Ottawa, in collaboration with the National Gallery of Canada is proud to present the work of artist Ken Lum for the sixth annual Stonecroft Foundation Visiting Artist Lecture on Thursday, November 12th, at 6:00 pm. The University of Ottawa is located on unceded territories of the Algonquin people, who are the traditional guardians of this land. This lecture series is made possible thanks to a significant gift from the Stonecroft Foundation for the Arts, in support of contemporary art discourse. The annual Stonecroft Foundation Visiting Artist Lecture Series, in collaboration with the Gallery, allows the public to discover prominent Canadian artists’ practices. On November 12th, Ken Lum will present an artist-talk followed by a conversation and question period moderated by Josée Drouin-Brisebois, Senior Curator of Contemporary Art at the National Gallery of Canada. In English with simultaneous French interpretation. If you miss the live talk, the recording will be posted on the NGC’s YouTube channel a few days after the event.
