The CN-Paul M. Tellier Chair on Business and Public Policy at the University of Ottawa is pleased to invite you to the 2020-2021 academic year’s first event of the CN-Tellier Series on Women, Business and Public Policy.

This webinar brings together a distinguished panel of experts and practitioners to discuss the particular ways (positive and negative) that women in business have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, how businesses and governments have responded (or not) to those particular challenges, and what policies could governments (federal and provincial) and businesses adopt to help women as the pandemic remains in place and we prepare for other health, environmental and/or economic crises in the future.

The confirmed panellists are:

  • Déborah Cherenfant, Regional Director, Women entrepreneurs, Quebec, TD Bank Group; Chair, Junior Chamber of Commerce of Montreal
  • Tiffany Gooch, Principal, Aurora Strategy; Toronto Star Columnist
  • Leah Nord, Senior Director, Workforce Strategy & Inclusive Growth, Canadian Chamber of Commerce
  • Gladys Okine, Executive Lead, Canadian Council for Youth Prosperity
  • Barbara Orser, Deloitte Professor in the Management of Growth Enterprises, Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa; Acting Head of the W20 Canada Delegation
