MEDICINE, ETHICS, AND HUMANITIES PROGRAM TOWN HALL
Do you have an interest in ethics and the humanities? Do you have ideas about how these subjects should be taught in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa?
The Medicine, Ethics, and Humanities Program (MEHP) in the Department of Innovation in Medical Education (DIME) exists to help our students, residents, and faculty discover how the humanities (such as literature, philosophy, history, law, and art) can both broaden and deepen their understanding and practice of medicine.
We are a young and growing program, and are looking to evolve to better serve the needs of our academic community.
If you are interested in helping us develop this vision, I would like to invite you to join us for an open Town Hall on Thursday, March 12th, 2020. You are welcome to come to either of two planned sessions, from 3-5PM, or from 6-8PM. The session will be held in Roger Guindon Hall Room 3248, and will be open to all faculty, residents, and students looking to help us plan our future. I sincerely hope you can join us.
