Back by popular demand, “How to Obtain Your P.Eng.” will be offered by the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Ottawa on March 28, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The goal of this training is to help students become familiar with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO); its structure and functionality, and obtain their Professional Engineers license and certificate from PEO.  This training aims to introduce students to the process of licensing (simplified method), and mentoring students through the process of licensing.  This is achieved by educating students about PEO (as a licensing and disciplinary body).

Training Objectives:

•Educate students about the process of licensing (simplified process)

•Improve the quality of application materials and layout

•Improve weaknesses in résumés, experience history, course description, and transcript approval

•Introduce students to PEO’s financial programs, scholarships and awards (NEW)

•Face-to-face consultation with the possibility of additional guidance for P.P. Exam and possible technical examination, is available by appointment.

•Obtaining the P.Eng. license through the honest-correct way and educating the applicants (future Ontario professional engineers) about the consequences of plagiarism and submission of the false documents

The training consists of one full day seminar, case studies and tutorials (approx. 8 hours), 21 handouts, forms and guidelines, plus face-to-face consulting (office hours) available to all students.

 Saturday March 28, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in LEES A130, University of Ottawa
