The week of September 16, the Centre for Research Opportunities will be hosting information sessions in order to provide undergraduate students a chance to find out about the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP). This program consists of a scholarship in the amount of $ 1000 as well as the opportunity to work on a research project during the school year. The application deadline for UROP is October 15. This program takes place from November to March with a supervising Professor of your choice.


Our information sessions are offered at following dates and times on a first-come first-serve basis (no registration required):

·         Tuesday September  17th:  1:00pm to 2:00  pm, French, in Senate room (TBT083);

·         Tuesday September 17th: 2:30pm to 3:30 pm, English, in Senate room (TBT083); and

·         Wednesday September 18th:  4:30pm to 5:30pm, English, in Senate room (TBT083).
