The celebration of the Journée internationale de la Francophonie (International Francophonie Day) will feature the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Tourism, Official Languages and La Francophonie, who will give an address. There will be a roundtable discussion on the impact and reach of University of Ottawa research on la Francophonie.

The event will also feature the launch of the University’s new research chairs program, the Chaires de recherche sur le monde francophone.

 

A reception will follow at 5 p.m.
