Career and Professional Development: Luncheon Roundtable for Students, Recent Graduates and Young Professionals

This luncheon roundtable is a unique opportunity for students, recent graduates and young professionals to learn more and benefit from professional managers’ experience and advices on the challenges that await them in the job market. Managers from diverse sectors in economics, social sciences, and administration will engage in an organized bilingual discussion on various subjects related to career and professional development. The roundtable will be followed by an open question period for participants as well as a networking session involving several other guest professionals.

This event is held in partnership with the Association des économistes québécois (ASDEQ) and the Ottawa Economics Association (OEA).

The ASDEQ is a non-profit professional association aiming to respond to the needs and interests of economists active in a wide range of branches in Quebec. The Association has taken a leading role in developing and disseminating economic knowledge, contributing to public debates, and promoting the role of the economist in the society. It is recognized as being a credible and impartial voice in economic debates.

OEA is the local Ottawa chapter of the Canadian Association for Business Economics (CABE). OEA is a non-profit organization offering a program of speakers, conferences and technical workshops focused on economic policy.
