Course description:
Crucial Conversations is a leadership course that teaches skills for creating alignment and agreement by fostering open dialogue around high-stakes, emotional, or risky topics—at all levels of your organization. By learning how to speak and be heard (and encouraging others to do the same), you’ll begin to surface the best ideas, make the
highest-quality decisions, and then act on your decisions with unity and commitment.
At the end of this one day interactive module, learners will be able to:
- Acquire the skills to engage others in addressing challenging issues while retaining or enhancing the relationship.
- Recognize when a conversation or issue becomes crucial, and learn how to stay in conversation to move toward resolution and action.
- Identify the challenges facing physician leaders in the health care system and acquire practical tools to deal with them.
