MTC - CFF Welding Safety and Basic MIG

- This event is offered only in English.
The Welding safety and Basic MIG training offered by CEED is the first step in getting access to the Welding area in the Brunsfield Center. In this training, attendees will learn the basic safety rules of the welding area and learn the basics of the MIG welding process as well as various tools used within the welding area.
A 10$ deposit is required for the event, this deposit will be refunded to the attendee upon arrival of the event. If for any reason you are not able to pay the deposit please email MTC@uottawa.ca and we will be happy to accommodate.
Attendees are required to do the following in order to participate to this event
- Non-synthetic pant such as Jeans and closed shoes must be worn. If you show up without proper clothing you will not be permitted within the welding area.
- Keep in mind that the welding area can be a dirty environment so wear appropriate clothing
- Make a Makerepo account (this will be used to keep track of your certifications and give you access to CEED spaces) http://makerepo.com/new
