Do you ever wonder how alumni from your program became successful in their careers? What is the story of how they “made it?” What are their skills and secrets, and could you apply these to your own journey? The Faculty of Social Sciences invites you to the “Meet the future you” speaker series that feature alumni who have succeeded in their professions and lead fascinating careers.

On November 9th, meet Jaime Seidner, Political Science alumnus, is the national leader of PwC Canada's Customs Consulting Practice and a member of the PwC Indirect Tax Team. Prior to rejoining PwC as a partner in 2014, Jaime worked in a variety of consulting and government roles with the Customs and Excise branch within the Government of Canada, as well as with an international law firm and a global freight forwarder.   In his previous roles with Customs and Excise, he worked as Senior Commercial Customs Inspector, Import Commodity Specialist, and Headquarters Project Officer on the Customs Accounting Team. Jaime’s other government positions included a Tax Enquiries Officer position with the Excise branch, stints with the Privy Council Office in Ottawa, and an assignment with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade at their Embassy in Paris, France.   *Bilingual presentation
