A must attend event for surgeons, fellows, residents in Orthopaedic Surgery as well as family physicians, sports medicine physicians, and allied health professionals.

Overall Learning Objectives
By the end of the educational activity, participants will be able to: 

  • Accurately diagnose knee injuries and recognize the features that will dictate surgical technique; 
  • Outline the alternatives  for approaches to the treatment of challenging and controversial cases; 
  • Recall the current up to date techniques of the complex knee arthroplasty;
  • Recognize common complications of knee surgery, primarily in effort to avoid them , and adjust technique to ensure the optimum patient outcomes; 
  • Identify the anatomy of the knee with the use of ultrasound and demonstrate its use for intraarticular and intratendinous insertion.
