Media Fauna Flora: numeric milieu and workshop
The HumAnimaLab is a research lab focusing on human-animal relations and the anthropo(s)cene. It will introduce students to the use of media recording tools and will showcase the mapping of its ongoing fieldwork in Gatineau Park. The Media Fauna Flora numeric milieu is a map-assemblage of different points of view. Once a month, members of the HumAnimaLab disperse into different directions into Gatineau Park territory. Equipped with different sensorial apparatus, they attend, through sound and video, to the changing seasons and try to pay attention to the unfolding of cohabiting logics of conservation and recreation.
