Le Département de Mathématiques et Statistiques voudrait vous inviter à la première réunion de notre nouveau Math Club.

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics would like to invite you to the first meeting of our newly created Math Club. The Math Club is designed primarily for undergraduate students, however, graduate students are also welcome. During the Math Club we will have talks that promote mathematics, career talks and research talks suitable for the undergraduate students. Several professors as well as mathematicians working in the industry or the government accepted our invitation to deliver a talk.

We will meet every Thursday, 2:30-4:00 PM, at 585KED, room B005. The first meeting will take place on Thursday, 19 October, 2017. Then we will have one week break (due to the reading week) and come back again in the first week of December.

The first lecture will be given by Prof. Mike Newman: Any M(o)ore Graphs?

Free food and drinks will be provided!

Come and join us! Learn more about mathematics - you will not learn this in the classroom!
