Omega park is located approximately 45 minutes from Ottawa and offers a VERY up close look at some of Canada’s wildest animals. The park is set up with a road winding all the way through so that cars and school buses can drive very slowly. The park allows and actually encourages you to feed the animals carrots along the way! We will simply keep the windows open so you can feed the animals and of course, take many pictures as we drive through.

We will be meeting in front of Café Nostalgica (601 Cumberland St.) at 11:45 am to take the bus at 12:00pm (noon). We will be returning around 6:00pm.

We recommend you bring at least a two-pound bag of carrots (to feed the animals) and pack a lunch. You will have the opportunity to follow small nature trails, so bring good shoes and dress very warm (as the windows of the bus will be open all day).
