This workshop focuses on the basics of Arduino and understanding I/O control. The workshop is used to familiarize participants with the hardware available for the boards and creating software for the microcontroller boards. Participants will work through some of the example codes in order to understand basic coding, preparing you for use with the Arduino platform.   If you have not already, please make an account on Makerepo.combefore coming to the workshop, and bring your student card! Arduinos, breadboards and computers can be provided.   We recommend that you bring your own computer, make sure you install the Arduino IDE (software), available for free here:http://arduino.cc/en/Main/SoftwareThis particular workshop will focus on designing circuits on the microcontroller boards Arduino Uno . The time in the workshop will be used to familiarize participants with using the hardware available for the boards and creating software for the microcontroller boards. At the end of the workshop participant will design their own circuits using the Arduino Uno. Arduinos and computers are provided.
