Interviews are the most common assessment tool used to evaluate if a candidate is the “right fit” for the job. They can be formal or informal, structured or unstructured, with one interviewer or many, but the common factor is that they often cause stress and anxiety to the candidate. This workshop will provide you with information on the various types of interviews and explain how to prepare to increase the likelihood of success. We will review the most common types of interview questions and provide you with a framework to structure your response. We will address the importance of a first impression and effective preparation strategies. You will be given extensive opportunities to practise responding to interview questions and will receive feedback on both your non-verbal and verbal communication.
