Veteran journalist, André Picard, examines the state of Canada's universal health care system: why it looks the way it does today and what reforms are needed to keep it sustainable and affordable.

Alumnus André Picard (BAdm '86) is the health columnist for The Globe and Mail and the author of four best-selling books, most recently The Path to Health Care Reform. He has received much acclaim for his writing, including the Michener Award for Meritorious Public Service Journalism and the Centennial Prize of the Pan American Health Organization, awarded to the top health reporter in the Americas. He is also an eight-time finalist for the National Newspaper Awards, Canada's equivalent to the Pulitzer Prize.

* Free bilingual event. A light meal will be served.
