The Great ShakeOut

Did you know we are at moderate risk for a major earthquake here in Ottawa? Although areas such as California and British Columbia are more well-known seismic regions, evidence suggests that a large earthquake is possible in our own region and that, historically, they have occurred. Even the small Val des Bois earthquake in 2010 caused some damage on campus; a larger one would certainly affect us even more.

Do you know what to do during an earthquake? Join the millions of others around the world participating in the Great ShakeOut, the global earthquake drill.
