SLAC pronouced "slack" is a new innitative at the uOttawa Makerspace to enrich the maker community, get students and local business to network share some ideas for new projects and of course, enjoy a slice of pizza.
This event is open to everyone; students from uOttawa, Carleton, Algonquin, high school students, community members and local businesses.

From 7pm-10pm, the Makerspace, Makerlab, and Student Lounge in Colonel By Building wing B (rooms 109A, 109C, and 109D) will remain open for users to continue to 3D print and build late into the night.

Soldering Workshop

Soldering is the process of using a filler material (solder) to join pieces of metal together. In this workshop participants will be shown how to properly use a soldering iron, in a safe and effective manner. No previous experience required.

Soldering Workshop
