Holiday Gift Making Workshop

In this workshop you will learn to use a sewing and ebroidery machine by making a kids toy with recycled material. Your finished toy can either be brought home or donated to the makerspace. All profits made from selling these toys will go to a fund that supports makerspace programs for underpriviledged kids.

Stay Late And Create (SLAC)

SLAC pronouced "slack" is a new innitative at the uOttawa Makerspace to enrich the maker community, get students and local business to network share some ideas for new projects and of course, enjoy a slice of pizza.
This event is open to everyone; students from uOttawa, Carleton, Algonquin, high school students, community members and local businesses.

From 7pm-10pm, the Makerspace, Makerlab, and Student Lounge in Colonel By Building wing B (rooms 109A, 109C, and 109D) will remain open for users to continue to 3D print and build late into the night.
