Laser Cutter Training

This workshop is a training class where participants will be shown how to safely use the laser cutters located in the Makerspace.

This workshop will consist of an Inkscape tutorial followed by training on how to use the laser cutter, along with safety measures and approved materials that can be cut followed by individual testing where everyone will display proper use of the machine to the Makerspace instructor. This workshop is offered in English and runs from 5:30-7:00 pm.

No equipment is required but laptops are recommended.

To celebrate this occassion, the Richard L'abbe Makerspace has launched its third design challenge. From drones to wearables, participants in this challange will need to integrate art and technology in a STEAM punk theme. Join us on Jan.12th for an information session.
